Dog of the Day: Buster
There are now 5 days remaining until The Furever Home Friends release on August 11! In honor of our countdown, I'm excited to present today's Dog of the Day!
Today's Dog of the Day is Buster, from the Los Angeles Animal Rescue! Buster has already found his forever home, and is a success story about adoption!
Like many rescue dogs, Buster is a mix of a little bit of everything! He's most likely primarily a terrier/mini schnauzer mix, but overall, he's a proud mutt!
Buster's owner, Patrick Metcalf, is one of our Kickstarter backers! Here is what he said about Buster's story:
"He was a homeless man's dog and lived on the street for six months to a year before the man surrendered him to LA Animal Rescue. When they got him, he was full of worms and had some not great diseases, but fortunately, LA Animal Rescue gave him all the treatment that he needed! When we got him, he was still pretty sick and underweight (about 6 lbs.), but now he is thriving! About 11 lbs. now and full of a ton of energy. He loves fetch, the beach, his buddy Toby, and watching movies with me!"
