What I'm Reading Right Now

Hey, friends!

I have a lot of awesome book reviews coming up on this blog! I thought I'd update you all on everything I'm in the process of currently reading! Some of these books I'm planning to review on my blog, and some I'm not.

A stack of books on my coffee table!
You may realize that these are not the
same as the books on my list.
That is because 1) I've already read most of these,
and 2) most of the books on my list I have as ebooks.
But this pile is the result of BookCon 2016!
However, if one of the books in the "not planning to review" section strikes your fancy, and you're thinking to yourself, "Savy, please please please do a review on this book!" just leave a comment! I'm happy to write more reviews if you guys want it! :)

Books I'm planning to review:

Custodians of the Cosmos by Drayton Alan
Review coming July 18!

Dead Over Heels by Theresa Braun
Review coming July 27!

Storm of Hope by Leila Tualla
Review coming August 7!

Underneath the Whiskey by Chelsea Lauren
Review coming August 15!

Books I'm currently reading & plan to read next, but aren't in my review queue:

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
Bassoon King by Rainn Wilson
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman
Girl Defective by Simmone Howell
Manic Pixie Dream Girl by Tom Leveen
and a few Star Trek novelizations

If you've noticed a general trend, it's that most of the books I'm planning to review are indie books! I love giving attention to books that aren't produced by a major publishing house, because there are so many amazing "hidden gems" out there that aren't getting the press they need.

(However, do keep in mind that my reviews will always be honest. I'll talk about the good and the bad. Though I do like to remain positive, since pretty much everything I read has a lot of great stuff in it! If it didn't sound good to me in the first place, I wouldn't have started reading it.)

Let me know your thoughts on any of these books! But please, no spoilers!

Also, book recommendations--both for reviews, and just for what to read--are always appreciated! Even if it's your own book that you recommend! :)

Happy reading!

Love,
Savy
