Book Review: Dead Over Heels

Dead Over Heels
By Theresa Braun

Theresa Braun's novella Dead Over Heels has completely piqued my interest in the genre of horror. I've always enjoyed a scary movie here and there, and scary stories have always kept my attention--but I've never sought them out the way I seek out sci-fi or contemporary YA. So when Theresa Braun asked me if I'd like to review this, I was excited to read something new!

I was not disappointed! Guys, this story is great! It's creepy, suspenseful, and romantic, all at the same time. Since this story is on the short side, I don't want to say too much and give anything away. But what basically happens is, a young woman named Veronica goes on a date with a guy named Sebastian. She's interested in him because he shares her passion for paranormal things, and surely enough, the restaurant they visit together has two mysterious guests who keep disappearing.

There's really cool mysterious element to this, which I loved. I had to keep reading to find out what happened, and I was so excited to discover each new twist.

I highly recommend this story, especially if you like a suspenseful, scary story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
